"It would be helpful for children and small adults if there was a handrail at a lower level on each side of the stairs.  It would be simple and relatively cheap to install.  Keep the existing one and just put a lower one in below."

Those of you who have listened to the interviews on My Bowes Park will remember hearing Bridie Dyllon, the elderly Irish lady well known in Myddleton Road.  She died after some years in a care home.  Bridie came from a small farm in Ireland. As a child she used to feed the farm animals, then go to school – barefoot as she did not have shoes except for going to church on Sundays – and then feed the animals again after school. i was at the BPCA meeting last night and amongst other issues I was looking for some advice/support re: planning application for large redevelopment in Sidney Rd also wanted to know when the Safer Neighbourhood meeting was..can you help?
