A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
On February 4th late afternoon/evening a car (reg X939CLL) smashed into the Horse Trough on Nightingale Rd outside Finsbury Gardens. Probably at the same time a car smashed into the railings by the phone box just round the corner in Finsbury Road.
The horse trough needs to be safely replaced on its base, and the railings repaired.
The Bowes Park Community Association got grants and organised the repair and repainting of the lovely late Victorian Finsbury Gardens railings, and we also 'look after' the plants in the horse trough. It is important that the broken railings are repaired in the right way - which is costly. It might be helpful to the Council if they knew exactly what happened here, and had a reg' number for the car that bashed them.
Did you see it, or do you know what happened? If so, please post your information here.

We operate as a volunteer-run community project, accepting advertising helps cover our costs. Whilst it's cheap to run the site - it's not free. If you can help - please consider making a donation..
