I have this on Freecycle but would rather it went locally!Basically a dining table (83 x 83), probably from the 1930s, that unfolds to twice its size.  Laminate top has seen better days but edging is solid wood. oak I think.  Top detaches for ease of transport, and therein lies the rub: it needs to be collected from Maryland Road!Perfect for a small flat!07941772298See More

Extending dining table

I would like this to go to a good home.  It is currently on Freecycle but transportation is a problem as I don't drive.  The table is currently in Lyndhurst Road and carrying across the High Road to Bowes Park is a possibility! This is a very old piece of furniture, maybe from the 1930s? It extends to twice the top size, and looks a lot better with a table cloth! Folded size of tabletop is 82.5 x 83.5. Chairs not included. Great for a small flat and for anyone good at upcycling!Let me know if…See More

Woodside Park Mosaic?

Hi there,Just across the High Road from Bowes Park lies Woodside Park and I'm from the Friends group that support improvements to our local green space.  We have a new entrance and sensory garden on the corner by the Mushroom House as I'm sure you've seen, and we are looking for an artist who might be interested in talking to us about a mosaic to decorate the rather bare looking curves that welcome you in.If any one out there has any ideas how we could put the icing on the cake, as it were,…See More

Hi Michael. -- I tried to send you a personal message but you have to accept a connection request first. Yes if it's still on offer we would like it and will pick it up. Thank you.  My partner will try to get in touch now and collect it soon, at your convenience. Thanks again. Zaza

Hi Michael -

Of course you are welcome to join us on Wednesday for the book club. We're reading Brooklyn by Colm Toibin.

It starts at 7:30 pm.

Hello Michael - welcome to the prototype site... plans are afoot to develop a fully formed version for later in the autumn.

I did briefly mention the Woodside Park Jazz picnic in a short forum piece - as the site develops there will be many more opportunities to promote and report on other activities.

Looking Forward to Sunday - hope the weather holds!
Richard
