Hello
I am a long-time local resident - I work for a not for profit community agency in North London.
I joined the site as I am committed to improving my community through volunteering, campaigning and helping out where I can.
I am a former Labour Party activist and lapsed Labour party member now a non-aligned socialist and active member of my Trade Union happily pricking the bubble of pomposity whenever I come across it.
Richard McKeever said… Hello John
Welcome to Bowes and Bounds Connected. I hope you'll find it a useful way to connect with neighbours and learn about activities happening locally.
All the small print is in our Terms of Service - do let me know if you have any questions - I'll try and answer them.
Have a look around at what’s already on the site and please do join in with the conversations - or start your own. You can upload photographs or add details of relevant local events and invite people to attend. We send out a weekly e-mail update of what's new - you can read the latest edition online. In addition there are several pages of local information in our resources section
Remember, everything you write is public, including comments on other people’s pages.
If you use other social networks you can visit our Facebook Page and follow us on Twitter.
Thanks for Joining In!
Richard
We operate as a volunteer community project, accepting advertising helps cover our costs.
Whilst it's cheap to run the site - it's not free. If you can help - please consider making a donation.
