Goring Road in Darkness

I wonder if anyone else is getting mildly concerned at the increasing number of street lights that are not working on Goring Road? As I was walking down York Road yesterday, I noticed that Enfield are once again about to mutilate more trees in the Bounds Green Area. It appears that despite vast financial cutbacks being made elsewhere, there seems to be an unlimited budget and no spending reduction in performing unnecessary hacking of the areas trees. Evening all.I'm sure we've all walked past that old detatched house on the corner of Brownlow and Maidstone Road that's been used as a squat and laid empty for some time.I've noticed that there is pending decision on whether to demolish it and turn it into massive three story block that will hold 6 x 2 bed flats and 3 x 3 bedroom flats.I always thought it would have been a good spot for a nursery or similar.
