Its such a shame that they were not featured in the recent article on Bounds Green in the Metro. They are a welcome uplifting sight
Who put them there? x
Haringey Council I believe!
Yep Haringey council paid for it and Windowflowers Ltd installed it along with hanging baskets on Myddleton road people would have noticed too. There will be both winter and summer floral displays in the barrier planting boxes outside bounds green tube station that have been paid for this year and next. Its a welcoming sight for visitors and residents commuting to and from the area. A local resident also does a sterling job taking care of the raised planting bed across the road from the tube station on the junction with Durnsford road. No one should underestimate the impact these things can do for an area both for business and peoples perceptions of an area.
Update much appreciated Stefan. I endorse your comments and it is so pleasing to see that they have not been vandalised and remain intact .Long may it continue
