A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
I've been with Virgin Media and its predecessors since I moved to Bounds Green in 1997. I get my phone line, TV package and broadband from them. The TV has always been fine. But I've had lots of problems this year with the phone line not working and, more recently, very slow broadband. See my letter of complaint to the Chief Executive for more details. I have been told that the latest very slow speeds - they have never been very fast in my case - are due to a programme of works in the N11 area that will last until December. The poor service is due to the large number of customers using the inadequate existing capacity. So I'd be interested to know if anyone else is having the same problems, or whether my service is especially poor.

On our side of the tracks we don't get Virgin Media Michael! BT Broadband, however, manages to be super fast at times and slower than a tortoise at others. As mystifying as it is maddening.
