Permalink Reply by Julian Prokaza on August 9, 2012 at 9:59 Not that I use it much, but I get perfect reception (and a host of channels) via a roof aerial and Freeview in Bowes Park — presumably from theCrystal Palace and/orAlexandra Palace transmitters.
Could your aerial be misaligned or perhaps broken? It might be worth comparing its reception to that obtained with an indoor aerial — this may not still be perfect, but if it picks up more channels (after some fiddling), then the rooftop aerial may need professional attention.
And you have, of course, retuned your Freeview receiver since moving to Bounds Green..?
Permalink Reply by Richard McKeever on August 9, 2012 at 13:16 I am in Bowes Park and since last summer been using Virgin Media cable for TV reception - but before then our Freeview reception via an Ariel inside the attic was pretty good.
