A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
Earlier this year there were discussions on the forum (and beyond!) about the need and desire for a local cafe and bar in Bowes Park. Meetings were held, the community was extensively polled with our survey and my husband and I have been working hard to secure a property for the business ever since.
We are now delighted to announce that we have found a home in Bowes Park for our business, a cafe, gallery, bar and events space called The Step. On Monday 3 October after a nail biting auction at BAFTA on Piccadilly we purchased Henleys Bap, which for those who don’t know is located at 101 Myddleton Road.
With the frustrations of finding a suitable location behind us, we can now get on with the hard work that will bring our dream to life. We get the keys at the end of October, so realistically it will be some time before we open our doors but rest assured we will be working like dervishes to ensure the opening night party is as soon as possible. All offers of help will be unequivocally accepted!
We'd like to thank everyone for their continued support, it means the world to us and we hope that before long The Step will be opening its doors and be somewhere that the whole of the Bowes Park community and beyond can be proud of.

You say you will have a bar too? We have a small group that goes for Monday night drinks.
Best of Luck
