Bowes and Bounds Connected

A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green

A little while ago Kay posted a message on the forum asking if any local folk would be interested in setting up a Clandestine Cake Club - where members bake their own cake at home and bring it along to a planned Secret Location.

Just a few weeks later Kay has now written a delightful blog post with some lovely photographs reporting on the first meeting of the Bounds Green and Bowes Park Clandestine Cake Club.

The Whimsical Wonderland themed Cake Club saw a group of local folk getting together to meet, chat get to know their neighbours and celebrate their baking skills.
On her blog post Kay says:

It was great to see how all the bakers interpreted the theme and added their personal touch.  All the cakes looked so gorgeous and colourful.  What was even better was the attraction that the cakes generated in The Step.  There were looks of interest, complimentary comments and one booking for the next event which is just a few weeks away.

You can read Kay's full blog post here (with more Cakey photos!) and find out how to sign up for future Clandestine Cake Club events.
