I was very sad to see the note on the shop today that the Killick Stores on Myddleton Road is closing, although I'm glad to say that Emma will still be doing the monthly markets.

It's been lovely having the shop there for the last 3 years, and its been a great source of unusual and funky stuff (and its rescued us more than a few times for last minute presents for  forgotten birthdays)!

Hats off to Emma for starting up a new business and offering something different that was a core part of the Myddleton Road revival. It was great to have something that wasn't a letting agent or nondescript office, and added a real splash of colour.

Oh, what sad news. It's a lovely little shop.

Killick Stores you will be missed! Gone but not forgotten

Credit to Emma - for her hard work in the shop and also for Myddleton road more widely.
