Bowes and Bounds Connected

A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green

This Mental Health Awareness Week, 8-14 May 2017, Create Your Future are launching a 12 week Textiles and Jewellery workshop at Chocolate Factory 3 for ethnic minority women who are not currently in work, education or training.

Create Your Future is a new employability and enterprise project for ethnic minority women
We're offering these 12 week creative workshops in partnership with 306 Collective, a fantastic group of skilled arts and craft practitioners, who co-run the exciting community enterprise. The aim of the studio is to empower disadvantaged local individuals by offering a creative space for those who are recovering from mental illness. Here they can rediscover forgotten skills, develop new ones and boost their confidence within a working environment.

Workshops will take place every Wednesday for 12 weeks, starting with morning sessions only.

If this course is primarily for 'ethnic minority women' why are you advertising on a diverse community forum.

I'll make a wild guess that it's because ethnic minority women are part of a diverse community.

You completely misinterpreted my point. If it is a diverse forum why advertise to one race.?
