Ooooh this sounds great but I don't have a SLR can you come anyway and get ideas about composition etc.?

Hi Kay, yes absolutely come along :) We will be starting with a lot of composition and framing and looking at how to very simply take better photos. And I'll have a couple of SLR's with me with various lenses, so you will get an idea of the different things you can do with them in case you ever decide to take the plunge!

I'd like to attend, but as I don't have a SLR, would it be ok to bring a compact, or it is just for SLRs?

Hi Lucia, as I have just posted to Kay, definitely come along. I will have my SLR's with me so you can have a play with them, but we will be starting with composition so you can use any camera you have. See you there :)

Unfortunately I'm not able to make the 27 September due to other commitments but am really interested in joining the camera club. Hopefully see you for the next meeting in October.

Great idea.  Can't make the 27th Sep but would like to meet up with yourself and others to discuss ideas before then.  Will definitely be coming along to future sessions.

 

Have you suggested advertising this on meetup.com?
