A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
I am thinking of starting a cake club locally, but before I start looking for a venue etc I just wanted to know if anyone would be interested in attending.
Basically it's like a book club, the only difference is that you bake a cake to bring along, then share and eat cake, while sharing tips with fellow bakers. It's a fantastic way to meet new people with a common interest.
I think it would be great for the community, plus others afar!
Let me know your thoughts.
Just a reminder about the cake club this coming Sunday. If you'd like to attend please do email me firstname.lastname@example.org
I will be sending an email revealing the 'secret location' on Wednesday.
If you can't make this Sunday there is another one on Sunday 10th June click for more details.
My husband and I can no longer manage Sundays, due to family commitments. But we both applaud the idea and are sure it will be a big hit. Good luck to you and all budding master-bakers!

The first cake club was a success today! If you didn't get a chance to make this one, there will be another event on June 10th 3pm - 5pm. The link is above.
Shelley, I saw a message from you but don't know how to respond to it or where it's gone. Anyway I am working on securing another date for August so will keep you informed via this forum however please also join the Clandestine Cake Club Bounds Green & Bowes Park group for updates too.
I have confirmed a date for the third cake club meet. Sunday 12th August 3pm -5pm. It's the final day of the Olympics, therefore the theme is 'Our Olympics' cakes should to represent the Olympics in some way.
Please email me to book a place email@example.com
Details of the cake club venue to be revealed at a later date, but it is VERY local!
