A Community Network for Bowes Park and Bounds Green
We were wondering if anyone knows of a local B&B? Any suggestions gratefully received!

@BowesandBounds there are a couple of decent hotels/guest houses in Muswell Hill that will set u back around £100 for a double.

Permalink Reply by TomJH on July 1, 2012 at 11:41 There is a place at the back of shopping city that is half way between a hotel and a B&B. I can't remember the name. They are always very busy. So there probably is a good business opportunity - there are some good websites where you can post your own spare room (spareroom.co.uk) - I think you can earn £4250 before being liable for income tax on the earnings. Am sure there are lots of people with beautiful spare rooms to let. Transport is great here are we have Ally pally etc. Bringing in tourists would boost the local economy and improve the area.
Permalink Reply by Rachella Sinclair on July 3, 2012 at 15:23 I use AirBNB and highly recommend it.
Are you moving out or is this a conversation I have forgotten we had?
Permalink Reply by Tim Blake on July 16, 2012 at 9:37 Hi all,
Thank you kindly Nell for starting the discussion.
The requirement is now a little more permanent as the family has reloctaed from NZ and is looking for permanent digs in the area. Shane is in the UK to coach the Wasps rugby team. The accomodation would need to be big enough for four people. Any help or contacts would be graetly appreciated.
Kind rgds
