Tree Warden Event THIS Saturday at 10am

The Haringey Tree Warden steering committee invite you to the following event,
open to everyone to attend:

Saturday 11th August

10am Meet at Cecile Park, N8 at the junction with Crouch Hill

10:05 Walk to a nearby street, led by Haringey Tree Officer Alex Fraser. We will
examine and comment on many of the issues surrounding the care and maintenance
of street trees in Haringey. This is designed as a learning experience for the
participants. Complete beginners particularly welcome. If you do know something
about trees, please come along and help.

11am Adjourn to a local cafe for a 'theory' session, led by Alex, where we will
go over the points raised by the walk in more detail.

This is an open session where you can raise any queries and/or contribute to our
knowledge.

12am Lunch in the cafe (sadly not subsidised - bring money!) - an informal 'get
to know you' gathering of those people interested in playing a more active part
in supporting the Haringey Treescape. Discussions of what we should be doing.

1pm The Haringey Tree Warden steering committee meeting - open to everyone.
