Sunday Sessions at Broomfield Park with Dixie

Join us by the bandstand at Broomfield Park for some great free live music with Indie/Pop/Rock band Dixie fresh from supporting the Happy Mondays on their 2012 reunion tour and Shaun Ryder in 2011 plus support on Sunday 19th August 2012 from 2-5pm. Each week has a different vibe with Jazz, Indie Pop, Soul, Blues played by fantastic local bands. Bring friends, family, picnic, something to sit on (and a brolly just in case) for a chilled out family friendly afternoon supporting local musicians & charities in beautiful surroundings organised by Electric Blues Club, sponsored by London Borough of Enfield.

Solo/Duo artists welcome to get up and perform during the Open Mic Competition between 1-2pm on the 5th, 12th & 19th August 2012 (only two microphones available so ONE acoustic instrument or backing track on cd or mp3 player). Be there between noon - 12.30 to put your name down. Open Mic Final will be on the 26th August 2012. Winner will receive free rehearsal studio time at Downs Sounds Studios, New Southgate Industrial Park, New Southgate.

Refreshment tent will be provided by local charity Ruth Winston Centre.
