Event Description
As part of Love Parks Week, Alexandra Palace presents Shane Green the very talented Sculpture artist.
See the sculptures take place in front of your eyes with the Olympic special sculpture trail inlcuding a range of sport-themed tree sculptures take shapes as they are carved by chainsaw to reflect the action at the Olympic Games.
They will be carved from existing dead timber from Alexandra Park to represent the Olympic disciplines of:
Discus, Cyclying, Swimming/ Diving, Hockey, Triathon and Shooting.
On completion of the sculptures that will form a sculpture trail around Your Park and leave a lasting legacy to the London 2012 Olympic games,
The Sculpturing will take place In the Grove 27th-29th July
Boating Lake 3rd-5th August
